| A possible scenario: Assume picture was taken 1864 near the close of the Civil War. The grandmother
was 64 (born 1800) and the granddaughter was 12 (born 1852). The wife married in 1851 at age 18, thus she was
born in 1831 and in 1864 was age 33. The soldier -- same age 33, born 1831. Such a scenario would place the soldier
and wife in the same range of ages as the children of ABRAHAM HOOVER, Sr., who was born about 1790. See
