Five Mile Cemetery

Page 2

Prior to visiting this cemetery, I had checked out the Dawson County RootsWeb photos. I was surprised to find marker photos for Mae Petteway Terral and husband taken in 2005, as I thought they were buried in Howard County. Edith Mae Petteway's father, William Webster Petteway, is buried in the Lamesa Memorial Cemetery (see index).

On June 1, 2007, I twice walked the mosquito-infested tall grass of the cemetery but did not find the Petteway/Terral markers, so I'll reference RootsWeb as the source for those two markers.

Following the RootsWeb photos are the Terral stones that I did find. They are located in the southeast corner of the cemetery.
