WINN CEMETERY

LEON COUNTY, TEXAS

Directions: From Marquez, south on Hwy 79 about 3 miles to left (east) on FM 3,
then about 0.6 mile to cemetery on left (north), just past the railroad track.

Linda Jonas Mullen provided the following pictures and news articles. Her father-in-law, Perry Clois Mullen (shown below) is a third-generation descendant of William Peterson Mullen (Clois' great grandfather).

Included are pictures and news articles regarding a memorial ceremony conducted June 6, 2009 by the Sons of Confederate Veterans, honoring the memory of William Peterson Mullen and other Confederate veterans buried in Winn Cemetery.
