Ory "Dock" never married. A cowboy, he died from a horse accident. See his obituary.
Ray married (8 Oct 1933 in Roby, Fisher, Texas) Dorthea Jean Wade (13 Jun 1914 - 10 Jun 1985 obituary). They had no children. Ray married Laura Mitchell in Ruidoso, Lincoln, New Mexico after Jean died. Ray was buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Ruidoso, Lincoln, NM but reinterred in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Jean.
Doyal married Crystal Lafoon and they had a daughter, Wanda Doylene (20 May 1939 - 12 Dec 2004 obituary). Doyal married Earnestine "Tenna" Page 4 May 1946 (17 May 1921 - 4 May 1993). They had four children. Earnestine is also buried in Lovington Cemetery.
Travis' obituary says born Dickens County, but the family was in Kent County when Travis was age 1. He married (28 Nov 1946 in Spur, Dickens TX) Robbie Lou Earnest (living). They had two children but lost a baby boy (obituary).
Ilene married (21 Nov 1936) John D. Dunaway (7 Dec 1911 - 26 May 1987 obituary). Double marker. They had two boys. John is son of James Monroe Claud Dunaway and Willie Etta Chambless.
Norma married (22 Jul 1944) Lewis Earl Arnold (14 Sep 1921 - 1 Jan 1988 obituary). They had four children. Double marker. Lewis is son of Thomas Franklin Arnold and Penelope Lasionia Horton.
Robbie married (17 Mar 1945) Harry Patton "Pat" Fletcher (26 Aug 1923 - 22 Dec 1961 obituary). They had four children. Pat is son of Jesse Fletcher and Mamie Miller.
Robbie married (13 Jun 1964) Robert Earl Briscoe (9 Feb 1934 - 24 Aug 1989 obituary). He is son of Lonnie Dee Briscoe & Opal Pauline Cunningham. Both husbands are buried in Spur Memorial Cemetery.
Eurena married James Carl "Jimmy" Morin (19 Mar 1919 - 16 Dec 1972 obituary). Double marker. They had two daughters.
In the fall of 1919, the Hoover family returned to the Erath/Comanche counties area to pick cotton. It was on the trip that two of the young children died: Troy Edgar from a ruptured appendix and Ester Wynona about two weeks later from influenza. During this time, their mother, Ada Belle also had the flu while pregnant with Travis Bernard. This is why Troy and Wynona are buried with Hoover/Scott relatives in the Hanson Cemetery (Comanche County) rather than back home in the Red Mud Community of Dickens/Kent, where Travis was born a few weeks after their deaths.
