Buried near his parents in Belvieu Cemetery. Marker: H. L. Smith, Jr. 22 Mar 1878 - 30 Dec 1938.

Lonnie may have been known as "H L" and thus was presumed to be a "Jr.," which was also added in the 1910 Census and on his grave stone. His father was dubbed Lonnie Sr. on the 1910 Census. Nora was presumably the 1910 respondent, but Bessie Irene (Mrs. Lon Smith) is the spouse and informant on the death certificate and presumably the one who placed his grave stone.
