1807 KY, died 19 Mar 1862. In 1850 they were in Rankin Co., MS having had at least seven children; the last was six months old in the census year.
In 1860 Smith Co., MS, B. G. was married to second wife, Sarah A. (unknown), with five of the 1850 Puckett children. Sarah A. was born about 1826 in Georgia. She aparently brought two Hardy children to the Puckett marriage - John T. 11 and Rebecca E. 9. B. G. died 19 Mar 1862 and Sarah A. was head of household in 1870 Smith Co., with son Basil G. who apparently married stepsister Rebecca E. Hardy, 20; their two young children are also in the household. |

In all four of these Census reports, Sarah's birthplace is Alabama. Sarah was head of household Sept. 1860. Julia O., last born, was 20 in 1880 but was not in the household in 1860 or 1870. More information is obviously needed. |
