| Notes: Both "Bolen" and "Parrack" are spelled several different ways in sources. Bolen is
the spelling used by daughter Effie Parrack Johnson and family, although "Bolin" is common.
John Bolen was the son of John Parrack and Lurina Cypret. John Bolen was a circuit riding Baptist preacher and he would travel over several counties wherever he lived. Much of his work is documented in letters to the Superintendant of the Dallas office of the Baptist General Convention of Texas.
