| William Richard and family went from Simpson County, Mississippi to Texas during 1892-1893; Sollie was the last
child born in Missisippi, and Mary was the first born in Texas. Richard's brother, John F. followed during 1895 -1898. Both
are in Navarro County in 1900. It it presumed these two brothers are the only children of William Clark Brown that went to Texas.
Richard, widowed in 1898, died in December of the 1900 Census year. All of the single children are accounted for in the 1910 homes of married siblings. |

he nor brother John F. could be located in 1910. About 1917-18 he married Lora Amy (unknown) - double marker.

married Roger William Craig, age 30, about 1903. Roger was born 12 Sep 1873, died 26 May 1953.
In 1900 Roger was with his widowed father, Joseph W. in Navarro County, JP6 242/243. Roger and his father are also buried in Wortham Cemetery. Censuses: 1910 TX Navarro: Roger W.
